With a rapid development of the mining industry, the underground mining conditions of some large metal deposits which have produced for many years become more and more complex, mine ventilation issues are emerging, which impact producting safety and future development planning seriously. Therefore, it has an important significance to study the optimization of mine ventilation system of these mines, then to improve the environment of the mine production and maintain the safety of workers.The thesis clarified some mine ventilation system optimization techniques, such as air curtain、catastrophe theory、3D VS and so on by inspecting and learning a lot of literature about the mine ventilation system optimization. Based on mine ventilation theory and mining engineering, it summarized methods of mine ventilation system survey、determination and evaluation for metal mining. At the same time, based on a large copper mine in Anhui, it summarized some difficulty about the copper mine ventilation system optimization research through conduct a comprehensive investigation and determination of the mine ventilation system. The difficulty is that the copper mine is nearly one thousand meters of depth underground, natural air pressure inside the mine makes a larger impaction, with too many branch tunnel、 produce zones、middles, few structures and dispersed borehole points of production operations, longer east-west, the ventilation condition is more complicated. Problems of the mine ventilation system and the main reason of product are identified, by doing the mine ventilation system on-site measurement, evaluation and comprehensive analysis.Due to the problem of the icing main shaft, the irrational distribution of underground air flow, the anti-wind of the main ramp, the serious air leak of the middles and the imperfect ventilation structures, the thesis carried out the work about the mine ventilation system optimization research. The paper prepared three specific and feasibility ventilation system to solve these problems, by three-dimensional simulation program software3D VS, so that to do three-dimensional analysis and ventilation management, regulate and control the air flow; meanwhile, do proposed network solution of the technical programs by using the software; and then compare the three technical programs using the multiple factors analysis and mutation theory optimizing method, thus to avoid the subjectivity and limitations of the single using of the multiple factors analysis. Finally, two ways shoed that system one is the best implementation of the program.According to system one, the freezing of main shaft in winter and the anti-wind of the lord ramp could be solved by using air curtain, which could perfect the ventilation of middle-9#and middle-11#, change the single ventilation of east iron ore and so on, and do a comprehensive optimization and perfection of the whole ventilation system of the mine. Upon examination, the using of air curtain solved the irrational distribution of air flow、the reverse of air flow and so on, which eliminate the structure problem and the difficulty of install auxiliary fan, the application effect is good, so the system worth a promotion.
