With the development of science and technology, to reduce the cost of the products, to save time and to create the best products have sought to target for each enterprise. Virtual prototyping technology is a new designing method, it is a digital designing method based on the simulated models of the products. By the method, the design process of the mechanical products is simplified, the development cycle of the products and the cost of products development is reduced, and the performance of the products is improved. DS807machine applied the method, which is used for forming vamp, is presented in this paper. The kind of the machine is double-station, which are heating and cooling what happened in different station. Therefore, the efficiency of forming vamp and the beautiful and quality of the vamp are improved.In this paper, according to the shape of shoe and combining with practices, the structure of the whole body is determined. The mechanism and jig and fixture are devised on condition that DS807machine for forming vamp have nice the forming ability and higher productivity. Since pneumatic transmission has many benefits such as moving quickly, easy maintenance, clean operation medium and so on, it is selected as motivator, then the correct and reasonable pneumatic control circuit is adopted and pneumatic logic control system is designed, the parameters of air compressor and air cylinder are determined. Finally, parts drawing and assembly drawing of the body are drawn. On the base of the mechanical design, all parts and components of DS807machine for forming vamp are carried on the entity modeling by used the three-dimensional design software Pro/E, then they are assembled by constraint relations to form a complete product. In the process, the parts drawing should continually be reviewed to confirm them to satisfy assemble relationships.Finally, pressure device and die assembly are simulated by strong mechanical system simulation software ADAMS, which can good combine with the three-dimensional parameterized modeling software PRO/E to check whether the mechanism get the desired movement and whether the selected parameters meet mechanical movement demands.
