Progressing cavity pump is widely used in oil field because of its fewer moving parts, even displacement, and more strong adaptability and so on. The multiple-threaded PCP has characters such as large displacement, high efficiency, low energy consumption and good mechanics characteristic of rotor compared with single-lobe PCP and has been gradually promoted in the international community. Domestic theoretical and experimental research on multiple-threaded PCP is insufficient, the single-lobe PCP is used in most oil field at present. Therefore, the in-depth theoretical study on multiple-threaded PCP has great realistic meanings and practical significance.The paper begins from the line style theory of PCP, according to the conjugate linear equation satisfied the theory of leak-proof , established each kind of linear rectangular coordinate system parametrization equation of the multi-thread PCP, Including the ordinary hypocycloid,the ordinary outside cycloid, the short hypocycloid, the short outside cycloid and the inside and outside cycloid altogether five kinds commonly used line style. Take above linear equation as the foundation, established the stator and the rotor modelling system through the coding and the manufacture parameter input surface. When the parameters including isometric radius,variation ratio,number of threads,eccentricity,revolution,outer diameter change, the model size can make the corresponding change , Namely has realized parametrization modeling of each kind of linear multi-thread PCP.Take the stator and the rotar as the foundation, established the assembly model, carries on the movement simulation analysis in the COSMOSMotion.Obtained the acceleration,speed and the track of the midpoint on the rotor.Deduced the velocity formula of immovable contact point and ambulatory contact point.The curve from Matlab tallied totally with the curve from simulation model,which has confirmed the accuracy of the two methods.The paper has established several simulation models, analyzes the rule of their speed and acceleration, the analysis discovered that the best parameter of the short hypocycloid obtained when the variation ratio equals 0.8, the ordinary outside cycloid is better than the ordinary hypocycloid.
