The single metal materials have been unable to meet the development ofscience and technology, the emergence of composite materials is solved theproblem of high requirements of material comprehensive performance, so thestudy of composite materials becomes the focus of current research, especiallyin the manufacturing process, the use of property and binding mechanism.This subject adopts the most widely used austenitic stainless steel (SUS304)and carbon (Q235) to connect research. Using the related knowledge ofchemical, surface engineering and other disciplines, application surfaceelectroplated nickel to prevent iron oxide scale during high temperature,analyzed and detected the protective effect of nickel layer in high temperature sothat provides the basis for the test; In diffusion bonding technology, analyzed thebinding mechanism and the function with microscope observation and hardnesstesting, and determined the test parameters; compared with vacuum rolling, nonvacuum rolling has obvious advantages, summarized the causes of vacuumrolling defects, especially analyzed the clamp iron oxide in the slag in detail; Innon vacuum condition, the rolling connection has realized; analyzed theorganizational changed with optical microscopy and electron microscopy,determined the effect of elements, summed up the connection mechanism.According to analytical result, this research acquires to draw a conclusion:1) The high temperature (below1100℃)protection effect of nickel platinglayer is very good,could be able to finish rolling connection in high temperaturenon vacuum.2) The best substrate connection process of nickel diffusion layer is ensured:800℃,30MPa, Vacuum of10Torr,1h holding time.3) The presence of nickel layer was able to enhance the connection strengthof diffusion bonding, reduce the burden of vacuum equipment, stop theproduction of the Cr-C compound in stainless steel and carbon steel, improve thecorrosion resistance of the composite board.4) In the blank making process and rolling process, analyzed andsummarized the causes of defects vacuum rolling connection, and provided theoretical basis for preventing the defect.5) In this paper, achieved rolling connection in non-vacuum condition,analyzed the rolling bonding mechanism, determined the effects of nickelplating layer in the rolling process, detected the effects of alloying elements inthe rolling results.In this paper, the experiments simplified the connection steps of compositematerial, reduced production cost, enhanced the production efficiency. Thisresearch has realistic economic significance.
