Overhead manned equipment in coal mine is one way of the subsidiarytransportation. In recent years, it becomes a new efficient form of the personneltransportation system. In order to accelerate the mechanization and modernization of thecoal mine, efficient auxiliary transport equipment needed by coal mine should bepopularized. And unattended system is the new form of overhead manned equipment incoal mine.In recent years, with the fast development of automatic control technology,overhead manned equipment is also more and more maturity. In this thesis, PLChardware interface and configuration software are applied to realize unattended systemfor overhead manned equipment in coal mine. The system mainly includes PLCmodule, PLC expansion module, hardware and software equipment and so on. PLC ofMicroLogix+1500series supplied by AB Company is used as site control equipment.The system realize real-time monitor through configuration software interface. Themain work of article is arranged as following:Firstly, the develop situation of subsidiary transportation system and presentdevelop situation in coal mine is introduced. Then overhead man-riding and thesituation of PLC application in coal mine are showed.Secondly the thesis introduced the system of unattended overhead man-ridingdevices and its hardware and software structure. By clarifying the working principle ofthe system, it can be determined that the Ethernet and programmable logic controllersapplied in automatic control system of unattended overhead man-riding devices systemare completely feasible and can obtain good monitoring result which is confirmed afteranalyses the feasibility and demand.The thesis further researches automatic control system. According to thecharacteristics and requirements of unattended overhead man-riding system, the part ofautomatic control is designed. Paper concentrate on to analysis and design softwarepart which is conclude unattended part and protect function and remote monitoringpart. After understanding working principle of PLC and develop characteristics, program of overhead man-riding is designed by MicroLogix+1500.Finally, the thesisdesigns man-machine interface by configuration of RSView32which is based onrequirement of industrial site.This system has been applied in coal mine of Dongtan that is included in CoalGroup of Yanzhou. Result of application shows that the system successfully realizedthe purpose of exchanging data in industrial Ethernet nephrites with electronic controlsystem of overhead man-riding device in this coal mine. The system also realized thefunction of monitoring, calling, data showing and alarming. Man-machine interfaceconformed to the field requirement and the effect of the whole system running is good.
