Plasma cutting machine is the use of plasma cutting technology on metal material processing machinery. Plasma cutting is the use of high-temperature plasma arc heat causes the workspiece to cut metal part (or partial melting and evaporation), and by the high speed plasma momentum to exclude a molten metal to form incision processing method. Plasma cutting machine is widely used in automobile, locomotive, pressure vessels, chemical machinery, nuclear industry, general machinery, engineering machinery, steel and other industries, Although the country has a number of production CNC plasma cutting machine manufacturers, but mainly of imitation imports of machine tools, the processing precision and the processing efficiency and the large gap between the foreign advanced machine tool.In this paper, with the Chang Jiang steel a plasma cutting machine as the research object, through finite element simulation, tests by means of plasma cutting machine beam was optimized, in order to improve cutting machine beam deflection of the objective, the paper mainly includes the following several aspects:1. Through the elastic beam load bending stress equation, displacement equations are derived to calculate cutting machine beam maximum stress, and the maximum deflection, static test provides reference for later.2. Through the finite element analysis software ANSYS, the cutting machine modeling and linear static analysis, modal analysis, get around the cutting machine beam stress, before a few step frequency and the maximum deformation of beams, the topology optimization for further reference.3. The plasma cutting machine cross beam structure in typical conditions of stimulation testing, analysis of beams in all directions on the vibration frequency. Through the finite element analysis results and the experiment results validated by comparison, confirmed by establishing the finite element model and the static linear analysis is correct.4. In the existing cutting machine model based on the beam components, topological optimization, material density everywhere on beam arrangement, meet the smallest optimal stiffness design requirements, the beam deformation minimum increase cutting machining accuracy.
