The Lead-acid batteries are applied to all areas of society and play an important role because the advantages of low cost, stable power supply and high-performance. With economic development, especially the rise of the electric vehicle industry, the market demand for lead-acid batteries are substantial increased. However, because the internal vulcanization causes the Lead-acid batteries scrapped in advance resulting in tremendous waste. For this problem, a composite pulse battery restore system is developed. Vulcanization is eliminated by the rich harmonic in high-frequency to resonance with the lead sulfate crystals in the battery. This paper mainly content to have the following several parts:(1) The Lead-acid battery restoration theory is introduced, and put forth the composite pulse restore methods.(2) The electrical energy transform circuit is designed. In the electrical energy transform, the high-frequency transformer, primary circuit, secondary side circuit and driver circuit are designed, and use the UC3845as control chip, the control flexibility is improved. The switch power supply is used in electric energy transform circuit, the efficiency and quality of power supply is improved.(3) The battery management circuitry is designed, and realizes the two-way flow of energy.(4) The design of control circuit is based on the PIC16F877microcontroller. The programs about A7D sampling, dual PWM output and LCD display are designed, and the external hardware control circuit of SCM is designed.(5) Experiments of the battery restore system are studied. The experiments about power conversion circuits, charge-discharge circuit and the restore process are researched respectively, through the comparison with the theoretical analysis verified the correctness of the system design methodology.
