Power load management is the application of several subjects such as modern management, application of computer, automatic control and information, and is a complete multi-functional system which integrates power business supervision and management, power marketing monitoring, power marketing management, the remote electricity charges for the excess, data acquisition and network connection. By load management system electric load can be effectively managed and controlled to realize improving load curve,advancing using rate of power supply equipment, preventing power cut and avoiding the influence on produce and life. The wide application of load management system has become a trend of automatic technology of electivity enterpeise because of its important effect on produce and management of current electric company.At present in much of the region of the middle and small power customer have characteristics of small capacity, dispersed distribution and small amount of data acquisition, Aiming at these characterisitics, a new load management system based on GSM(Global System for Mobile communication)network is presented in this paper.The main work of this paper are as follow.1. Analyzed the domestic and foreign existing load management system composition, function, characteristics and management mode. Discusses the suitable for the regional distribution form of load management system under the actual needs. Put forward based on medium and small power supply system, and especially the requirements of power load management system of new management mode and realization scheme. A new load management system based on Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) in distribution network is designed, Improve the distribution system of wireless communication network.2. The software and hardware of remote load terminal in the new load management system are designed for medium and small sized customer, including data acquisition, the AC sampling arithmetic, communication module and integration of load measurement and control terminal.3. A load management system is designed basically for medium and small sized customer to satisfy demands of rural network management. The principle flow diagram of management functions in supervisory center is designed in detail as well as parts of software.4. Analyses the current domestic each load management system in some existing problems, This article probes into the development of load management system function and Gerneral Packer Radio Service (GPRS) combination of technology, Puts forward the future power distribution automation system integration schemes, As for power distribution automation system hardware, software development and optimization of the environment is also studied.
