Based On The Gathered Township Administrative Division Adjustment In The Economic Development Of The Research

Recent years, many places are undertaking administrative division adjustment atvillages and towns level, but all of these adjustments are based on the considerationof lowing administrative cost and improving administrative efficiency. This thesisstarts from the sight of accelerating the economic development of administrativeregion, based itself on the theory of Agglomeration Economy and analyzing the socialand economic attractive forces among administrative region and the extent ofagglomeration among economic elements so as to plan new administrative divisionsat villages and towns level expecting to accelerate the economic development ofJinyun county resorting to administrative division adjustmentThe theory of Agglomeration Economy is important basis of analyzing theproduce and development of regional economy. Because of all sorts of effects ofAgglomeration Economy such as effects of division of work, scale effects, technicalknowledge and other spillovers, all kinds of resources and productive elements tendto agglomerate around cities and core areas affecting future development of cityeconomy and regional economy. So wise and rational administrative division shouldbe in accordance with the future development of Agglomeration Economy but notretard otherwise. Currently, the economic situations of administrative regions in ourcountry have been changed so the administrative divisions’ adjustments make theirappearance around the axis of the economic region.Basing itself on the above view, this thesis studies the administrative divisions atvillages and towns level in Jinyun county. In order to facilitate empirical analysis, thisthesis quotates attractive force model from new geographical economy. This modeltakes in economic factors, social factors and geographical factors that may affectregional development such as agricultural and industrial production, population,social culture, traffic distance etc. Based on this calculating the social and economicattractive force among villages and towns in Jinyun County so as to take theseattractive forces as the basis of administrative divisions adjustments. So to speak, this thesis finally get the administrative divisions adjustment as the following: settingWuyun street office at the main town and Xinbi street office at Xinbi industrialdevelopment area; setting Xiandu management council at Xindu scenic area,increasing the land scale of Huzhen town, Shuhong town and Shijian town. Afteradjustment, the new administrative divisions will be formed as "two street offices,one management council, four towns one village".Finally, this thesis offers the measures of implementation and advice of posteringthe form of Agglomeration Economy at Jinyun County.
