At present, construction projects become more and more complex, the ownersrequest higher and higher.Despite the continuous development of science andtechnology,but in the construction industry,there are still some waste of resourse,timeand communication,lead to can not achieve the desired objectives.Manufacturing useof the great success of lean thinking and lean production, using lean to improve thequality and efficiency of the construction industry and brings the dawn.Lean Thinking identify and then confirm the value stream, to reduce non-valueadded activities that hinder the smooth flow of value stream, optimize the value ofvalue-added activities, and ultimately achieve the maximization of value and wasteminimization.The core of Lean Thinking is to provide customer satisfaction with theservice at the same time, the waste to a minimum, and relative reduction in theinvestment of resources. Lean thinking comes from lean production.Due todifferences in construction and manufacturing, lean production can not be directly inthe construction industry. How to choose a lean production theory for the projectimplementation phase is the focus of this study.This article uses the literature reading research and theory analysis method,through reading many reference related literature on the basis of lean thinking, makesome analysis. According to the principle of lean thinking, analysis of the value chainand supply chain management theory, and study how to apply to the projectimplementation phase.In this paper, the source of lean thinking and its basic theory to analyze theintroduction, from the perspective of the value chain that the design and constructionphases of the value stream waste.Lean thinking applied to the cost of control of theimplementation phase, to build the environment of building lean supply chain andstrategic supply chain partners, the implementation of lean technology, methods, andapply it to actual cases to prove the effectiveness of lean thinking.
