The automatic grenade launcher-machine gun and light mortars "hybrid" has become the most common team support weapon on the battlefield. Taking a large diameter automatic grenade launcher as the research object, dynamics simulation and optimization for the automatic machanism and feed machanism was set up by using virtual prototype technology.This paper first introduces the establishment of automatic grenade launcher virtual prototype model. Then,Dynamics analysis including automaton movement characteristics, stress condition of important parts and movement performance for feed mechanism was completed. The parametric modeling and parameter sensitivity analysis of leverage cam contour curve for feed machanism was accomplished, through the application of iSIGHT integrated ADAMS,multi-objective optimization of feed mechanism was done with the multi-island genetic algorithm, so that energy loss for feed mechanism significantly reduced and work performance for automatic machanism and feed machanism improved. By using ADAMS script control command, five volleying simulation for automatic grenade launcher has realized, further validated the correctness of the establishment for the virtual prototype. Analysis of the influences for the various parameters on the automatic machanism movement characteristics was finished,and single objective optimization for automatic mechanism was completed, significantly improved the automatic weapons radio frequency. Finally, through the prototype range test and information processing, the automaton’s motion curves was achieved, and motion reliability of automatic grenade launcher prototype was validated. Through analysis contrast of the volleying simulation curve and test curve, once again proved the correctness of establishment for the virtual prototype.Through this thesis,an effective method is provided for structural optimization of the cam contour curves for the automatic mechanism and feed mechanism, and a reference for the further improvement of engineering prototype for automatic grenade launcher is also offered by this study.
