Rfid Technology In The Application Of The Subway Automatic Machines

In recent years, radio frequency identification technology has been widely used in many areas of society, having an important impact on improving people’s quality of life, expanding the economic efficiency of enterprises, strengthening public safety and improving the information level of social. This topic came from the project of a subway AFC system research, mainly studying the application of RFID technology in ticket vendor machines of metro。Considering the requirements of the project, this paper designs a management system for tags. The system is mainly used to record the ID number of notes cashbox, coins cashbox and other equipments, operation time, job number of staff, in order to achieve management automation.Firstly this paper analyzes the functional requirements and workflow of the management system, then planning the structure of the system, dividing the system into two parts:control segment and reader. On these bases it chooses the suitable chip and design circuit diagram. The paper chooses PIC16F877as the control chip, HITAG tags of NXP Company and the supporting RF chip HTRC11001T. Secondly in line with the proprieties of RF chip and the operation frequency of system, design the matched reader antenna to achieve optimal read/write distance. Thirdly analysis software control flow of the system, formulate communication protocols between reader and computer, write communication program and debug the value of related important parameter, to verify the work of the whole system. Finally, research the metal environment’impact to radio frequency identification system from theoretical perspective. Contra to the real impacts of this system, identify solutions so as to optimize system performance.By building the model and experimental verification, the module is able to complete the design requirements, which can record the important information on the individual devices in subway ticket vending machine in the metal environment.
