With the development of industry and the raising of economy, a variety of large structures and precise equipments are applied in the engineering. The vibration of the structures and equipments is always an important issue studied in the vibration control field, and the vibration and its harm can be effectively reduced by using reasonable vibration control measures. Under the background of the vibrating isolation of the longitudinal guiding mechanism of Xiangjiaba, the paper does some research on the design and the isolation effects of the spring device based on the mechanical properties of disc spring.In the paper, based on the summarization of the vibration control technology and the research situation of the disc spring at home and abroad, first, the mechanical properties of disk spring such as its stiffness, bearing capacity, stress and friction are theoretically studied, and on the basis of which a calculate software for disc spring is redacted, making the preliminary selection, design and check of disk spring more convenient.In order to comprehensively study the mechanical properties of the disc spring, its experimental device is designed and manufactured. The mechanical properties of disk spring in different combinations and excitations are experimentally studied, to analyze the relationship among the stiffness, damping, combinations, and loading frequency of disk spring. Innovatively, this paper also studies the influence of the surface lubrication conditions of disk spring on its stiffness and damping.In view of the long design period of combined disk spring, the high cost and complicated process of its mechanical tests and so on, this paper studies the mechanical performance of one type of combined disk spring by the finite element method, and obtains the analytical results such as the stiffness, damping and the stress level of the combined disk spring. In the condition of being allowed by the equipments, the results of finite element analysis are verified by the experiments, providing the reference for the application of the finite element method in engineering design.Combining the application of the disc spring device for vibrating isolation with its engineering practice, on the premise of the knowledge of the structure, working principle and main working condition of the ship lift of Xiangjiaba, the paper studies the scheme of its vibrating isolation according to its load conditions and isolation requests. The disc spring vibration isolator is designed and manufactured based on its functions.Finally, based on the nonlinear vibration theory, the vibration equation of the longitudinal guiding mechanism of Xiangjiaba is established and the numerical solution method of solving the dynamic response is discussed. Using the dynamic simulation software, the paper does an emulated analysis on the effects of its vibrating isolation under the selected seismic excitation, and the influence of its different damping to the vibrating isolation effects is compared.
