With the national policy of energy saving and emission reduction is carried out and the heating charging system reform,the market gradually emerging all kinds of heat measurement instrument.The ultrasonic heat meter with its lots of advantages is gradually becoming the mainstream products of the hot scale market.For the current problems in ultrasonic heat meter, focus ing on the measurement accuracy, meter reading and working time,designed a kind of low power consumption,convenient meter reading supporting ultrasonic heat meter system which can work longer.This paper designed a straight-through pipe which can eliminate the impact of measurement accuracy bringed by impurity and the installation angle of the ultrasonic transducer.And used the fluid analysis software Fluent to optimize the design by changing the pipe diameter and pipe angle,which rueduced the pressure loss and improve the system accuracy of measurement.Viewing the problem of the ultrasonic heat meter reading,this paper designed the M-BUS meter reading communication interlace and infrared meter reading communication interface for the ultrasonic heat meter,which provides hardware and software supporting for the ultrasonic heat meter to realize the remote automatic meter reading.In order to extend the work time of ultrasonic heat meter,the system low power consumption and energy compensation were designed in this paper.It reduce the system power consumption through the choice of low power consumption chip and construct circuit with the low power consumption of software setting.It designed the temperature difference power generation which used the hot water in the pipeline as hot source.It can provide the energy compensation for instrument batteries,thus greatly prolong the working time of the heat meter,In addition, this paper completed the hardware circuit design and software programming of the ultrasonic heat meter flow measurement module, temperature measurement module, display module and JTAG debugging module, then tested the flow measurement and temperature measurement function on PCB, the results show that the instrument can accurately realize heat metering work.
