According to the requirements of launching grenades and armor-piercing projectilescompatibly,this paper conducts a technology study for the new compatible launchingautomatic weapon. It has solved the key technology, and make the automatic can match twokinds of ammunition. Through the analysis of the characteristics of new compatible launchingautomatic, this paper designs the overall scheme and a portable two way ammunition feeder,achieves two kinds of ammunition supply. This paper analyses the dynamic characteristics ofthe new compatible launching automatic and determines the parameters of the interiorballistic. And the curve groove of acceleration mechanism is designed. Dynamics equations ofthe automatic process is deduced, and the parameters of the new compatible launchingautomatic is determined by compiling a computer program with visual basic. The parts isdesigned detailedly and created three-dimensional model with SolidWorks. Import the modelinto ADAMS and establish the virtual prototype model. Based on the multi-rigid-bodydynamics theory and virtual prototype technology, the new compatible launching automatic issimulated.Through analysis the characteristics of kinematics and dynamics, the reliability ofthe automatic is verified. With the finite element analysis of the key parts, validate therationality of the design.This paper solves the key technology of compatible launch, provides the help to greatlyimprove the mobility of weapon systems and simplify logistical supply.
