Based On The Theory Of The Place Spirit Of Daqing Ming Lake Shore Water Landscape Design Research

21st century is an era of experiencing, people have started to concern more about their inner feelings than before. In this case, the regular form and function can no longer meet what people ask for the space environment, whereas they have more expectations for the spiritual level. Waterfront architecture is a momentous part of the environmental design, how to make people feel happy from it is a new problem that requires a designer to cogitate today. Using genius loci to guide the waterfront architecture design is the very way to solve the satisfaction problem of the customers, this essay is giving Daqing Ming Lake as the example to discuss the framework and design practice of the spirit of place theory.The entire essay is supported by four chapters. The first chapter is Introduction. Based on the research of the domestic and foreign literature to introduce the research backgrounds ranges significance、contents、solutions and framework; the second chapter is Raise the Problem. According to the field investigation, concluded that the biggest problem of the waterfront architecture is a lack of the spirit of place; the third chapter is Analysis of the Problem, through the thorough analysis of the spirit of place, seeking the connection underneath, finally concluded with the design method of the waterfront architecture on account of the spirit of place, specifically include the constitute elements、design ideas and performance methods; the fourth chapter is Solutions, taking the Daqing Ming Lake waterfront cultural park as a reference to discuss how to put the spirit of place into the design practice.Guide the waterfront design by using the spirit of place theory is another try of its practicability. Through the further research of Daqing Ming Lake, trying to find out the rules to get the final solution of the waterfront design, sparing no effort to create the city landscape with heart in it, also making contributions to the healthy development and favorable living condition for the city.
