Based On The Perspective Of Transaction Cost 10 Lobster Production Organization Evaluation Research

Research significance and study objective:there remain some contraditions between micro-household and macro-market in China’s agriculture, making both parties unable to match efficiently. Moreover, pesant households hold no deserved position in the market, which, to some extent, causes great damage to economic efficiencies and furtherly restricts the development of agricultural modernization. The paper describes the development situation of the Xuyi lobster production organization and discusses that how to choose the effective organization form to raise its systematism level,then puts forward some policy recommendations to promote the Xuyi lobster charcteristic agriculture.Theoretical basis,deta source, research methods and research contents: This paper’s theoretical basis includes agricultural industrialization, the industrial organization theory and the transaction cost theory.And the data sources are two: one is from the microscopic level lobster farming households questionnaire; the other is from interviews and records of agriculture experts, lobster farming cooperatives and other professional experts. The paper uses the descriptive analysis method based on the questionnaires and analytic hierarchy process based on expert consultation. And the core section has three parts:one is comparative study of the Xuyi lobster main production organization form, analysizes the current main production organization form characteristic and the difference; the two is the present situation analysis of Xuyi lobster production organization based on questionnaires, describing its organization of production development status and finding out the problems; the three is the production organization’s hierarchy analysis based on the efficiency of economic organization, using new institutional economics" transaction cost" efficiency standards,then make evaluation, sorting, analysis of Xuyi lobster production organization’s efficiency.The conclusion and suggestion:Characteristic Agriculture of the Xuyi lobster industry mainly possesses the following three production organizational forms: peasant household+enterprise; peasant household+cooperative; scattered peasant household. Detailed Studies lead the author to arrive at the following conclusion: first, age structure and education background of lobster keepers remain to be optimized; second, the whole level of orgnization is not high enough while keepers have strong wishes to be organized; third, the performance of keepers’producing, breeding and operating is quite good while the form of "peasant households+enterprise" displays the best; forth, keepers rely heavily on the government for technology learning; fifth, the form of "peasant households+enterprise" is the best choice of Xuyi lobster industry at the present stage, which has the highest organizational efficiency and tops at the list of evaluation under the standards of transaction cost. The thesis, thus, puts forward the following suggestions:first and formost, capital input should be expanded to raise the cultural and technological level of lobster keepers; second, correct guidance and proprity should be given to encourage the form of "peasant households+enterprise"; third, to adhere to the line of famous brand and to strengthen the protection and management of brand; last but not least, to strengthen agricultural production organization’s strict self-discipline, the quality and the integrity management.
