Purpose：Application of percutaneous vertebral angioplasty (percutaneousverteoroplasty, PVP) for senile osteoporosis vertebral fractures ofcompressibility research.Material and method：The retrospective of shenyang orthopaedic hospitalin June2011to12months were54cases (62vertebral) vertebral fracture patientscompressibility, all application percutaneous vertebral angioplasty treatment,before treatment,24h after treatment were separately using pain score, activityability score, and vertebral body height and Cobb s Angle measurement evaluationmethod for the evaluation. And after treatment of the assessment result as theteam, and the assessment result before treatment as control group. After3-5months follow-up for short, through comparative analysis preoperative andpostoperative24h and the short-term follow-up results differences, will thestatistical data of comparative study.Results:1.54patients (62vertebral) operation process are successfully completed, thisgroup of all patients in postoperative pain symptoms were all within24hobviously alleviate or disappear. Pain relief rate was100%, and all cases alldid not appear bone cement leakage, nerve damage, and other complications.2. VAS score of8.0and1.3preoperative and postoperative2.1and0.8, a surgeryimproved significantly (P <0.5), the end time follow-up, and the0.72.0andthere were no significant differences (P>0.05); activity ability score of3.2and0.3, the preoperative1.3and0.2, a surgery (improved significantly (P <0.5), the end time follow-up, and the0.51.1and there were no statisticaldifference (P>0.05). 3. The team each index evaluation results were significantly better than controlgroup, the difference was statistically significant. Short-term results and theresults were not statistically significant.Conclusion：1. Because the traditional drugs and conservative treatment can’t satisfy themodern patients quality health needs, and percutaneous vertebral angioplastytreatment is osteoporotic vertebral fracture compressibility a minimallyinvasive surgical treatment. Compared with the traditional treatments havecertain advantages. Treat the old is osteoporotic vertebral fracturecompressibility of an effective and economic and security methods.2. Because there are some complications vertebral body angioplasty, and thesurgical operation process should be remember operation points and prevent theoperative complications occurred.3. PvP in treat vertebral fractures can effectively relieve the compressibilityof patients with pain symptoms, curative effect is distinct. Worth in clinicalpromotion.
