Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb., a kind of perennial herb belonging to Rosaceae family Agrimonia genus, was used as a hemostatic, antimalarial, anthelmintic and antiinflammatory agent in Traditional Chinese Medicine.Previous study found that Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. extracts had strongα-glucosidase inhibition activity, which might be used as treatment of diabetes. During the course of our studies on the the chemical constituents from Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb.,21 compounds were obtained. On the basis of physicochemical evidences and spectrosopic analyses, their structures were determined as corosolic acid (1),27-hydroxy-a-amyrin (2), ziyu-glucosideⅡ(3),3-O-acetyl pomolic acid (4), tormentic acid (5), 1β,2α,3β,19α-tetrahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid (6), 1β,2β,3β,19α-tetrahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid (7), tiliroside (8), luteolin (9), quercetin (10), (2S,3S)-(-)-taxifolin (11), pilosanol C (12), dehydrodicatechin A (13), agrimonide (14), trans-p-coumaric acid (15), isovanillic acid (16), protocatechuic acid (17), protocatechuicaldehyde (18), (24R)-24-ethyl-5α-cholestane-3β,5,6β-triol (19),β-daucosterol (20),β-sitosterol (21), respectively. Compounds 2,3,4,13 and 16-19 were isolated from Agromonia genus for the first time. In this thesis 1H and 13C NMR data of compound 6 was assigned.
