Abstracts:objective:Agrimoniae Herba is also called longyacao、langyacao、tuolicao、mabiancao and shidachuan. Agrimoniae Herba is the dry ground of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb.,which belongs to the rose family. Agrimoniae Herba is one of common traditional Chinese medicine. The efficacy of Agrimoniae Herba is quite mild, it tastes bitter taste and works to the heart and liver. Its abilities include anastaltic, treatment of malaria, antidysenteric, detoxification. It is mainly used for the treatment of all kinds of hemorrhagic disease, malaria, exhaust or tire though overuse or great strain, swelling and toxin of welling-abscess and sores, vulval pruritus and morbid leucorrhea, and so on.Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. is used to growing in such fields as hillside, forest edge and roadside, and in a variety of the climate conditions, so it has a good adaptability, and is easy to grow. It is both edible and medicinal. It is more abundant resources in luzhou. This issue will study the Pharmacognostical character, and it will identificate Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. by TLC, and compare the content of total flavonoids and agrimophol in different harvest time of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb., establish a method for determination of it, and provide experimental basis for selecting the best harvest time of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. which lived in Luzhou.Method: This study used the original plant identification, trait identification, microscopic identification and chemical identification method to make a Pharmacognosy Identification. Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) was used for qualitative identification of agrimophol. Ultraviolet spectrophotometry was used for the determination of total flavonoids and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used for the determination of agrimophol in different harvest time of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. which lived in Luzhou. Results:Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. which lived in Luzhou was exclusive in original plant morphology, microscopic characteristics, trait characteristics and chemical characteristics. Agrimophol could be detected by thin layer chromatography. The content of total flavonoids.could be detected by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. Total flavonoids was good linearity in 0.0055~0.088mg·ml-1, the scope relationship was 0.9997, the average recovery was 98.15%, and RSD was 1.18%; Agrimophol could be determinated by HPLC. Agrimophol was good linearity in 0.01~0.1mg·ml-1, the scope relationship was 0.9998, the average recovery was 101.5%, and RSD was 1.10%. The content of total flavonoids in Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. which lived in Luzhou was 10.77% in June, 12.38% in July; the content of agrimophol in Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. which lived in Luzhou was 0.0108% in June,0.0131% in July. The content of total flavonoids and agrimophol were much higher than any other month. Conclusion:This experiment establishes the pharmacognostical identifications for Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. which lived in Luzhou; The TLC shows Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. which lived in Luzhou contains agrimophol composition; This experiment establishes a way for using ultraviolet spectrophotometry to detect the content of total flavonoids, the way is simple, rapid, sensitive, high precision, high accuracy and with good repeatability and recovery; This experiment establishes a method for using HPLC to determinate agrimophol, the method is simple, high precision, high accuracy and with good repeatability and recovery. The reasonable harvest time of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. which lived in Luzhou is June and July.
