1.17endophytic fungi strains were isolated from Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb in Inner-Mongolia and20endophytic fungi strains from Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb in Jiangxi province. Morphological observation was employed to identify the endophytic fungi strains. The results showed that37endophytic fungi strains from Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb were Aspergillus、 Trichoderma spp.、Fusarium、Mucor、Saccharomyces, respectively. Not only were the differences in species and distributions of endophytic fungi in Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb from Jiangxi province, Inner-Mongolia and Zhejiang province investigated, but endophytic fungi from Zhejiang province in most types were analyzed as well.2. In the present paper, after screening the bioactivities of endophytic fungi strains from Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb in Inner-Mongolia or in Jiangxi province the results indicated that6strains exerted high antioxidation,25and10strains could inhibit proliferation of the SGC and LOVO cells, respectively. In the meantime, endophytic fungi strains from. Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb were cultured with extracts of polyphenols of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb, and their effects on the accumulation of polyphenols in Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb were evaluated. The results showed that21endophytic fungi strains made the contents of polyphenols in medium increased. Strain R3-1exerted the most activity and was identified as Aspergillus flavus by molecular biology technology (MBT).3.14endophytic fungi strains were screened by culturing with Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. It indicated that one (R2-2) of strains could obviously promote the growth of the plant, and the stain was identified as Trichoderma spp by MBT. After inoculation with R2-2, the influence of the strain has been investigated on metabolic products of host plant, including polyphenols, flavone, polysaccharides and saponins. The results indicated that endophytic fungi were able to change the types of metabolic products, such as gallic acid, rutin and luteolin were formed in the system.4. In order to investigate the biotransformation of rutin, quercetin and luteolin by strains R2-2, R3, R3-2, S8, each substrate was added into the culture system of endophytic strains, and products of transformation were determined by HPLC. The results showed that strain S8exerted the highest transform rate to rutin and quercetin as4.95%and16.4%respectively.27.4%of luteolin was transformed by strain R3. Transformation effect for strain R2-2is not obvious very much.
