This article analyzes the function of Hinayana Buddhism Aesthetics. Dai Nationality has a long history. In the long historical development, the aesthetic education which is different from the traditional aesthetic education method has caused. Based on the modeling, language, performance, it educates Dai Nationality in both form aesthetic and ideal aesthetic. Through studying it, the author holds that the form aesthetic of Hinayana Buddhism is the important aesthetic activity of Dai Nationality. In the activity, people get the aesthetic education and can be illuminated. There are five sections as follow:Introduction This section introduces the origination of selection, research signification, research method.Chapter 1 Historical culture of Dai Nationality and Hinayana Buddhist religion.Chapter 2 This section is the basis of argumentation of the topic. It mainly discusses the artistic form about Hinayana Buddhism, such as the temple architecture, religious painting, Buddhism works, Buddhism music and dance.Chapter 3 This chapter is the most important in this essay. It mainly analyzes different artistic form has its aesthetic education and arts are the important method of the traditional aesthetic education of Dai Nationality. The education in temple is the main form of aesthetic education of Dai.Chapter 4 Conclusion. The aesthetic education of Hinayana Buddhism is through artistic forms. As a educational base, the education is the complementary of modern school education, especially in the Dai aesthetic education. The function of Hinayana Buddhism aesthetic education is a dynamic change.
