In the past twenty years, research on foreign Chinese pronunciation teaching developed rapidly, in which research on western learners of Chinese focused on students of English-speaking countries, less on students of small language countries. Through quantative research methods of modern linguistics such as pronunciation surveys, statistical analysis and comparative analysis, this paper describes Chinese pronunciation errors of Dutch students and analyzes the causes of errors. This paper also presents some relevant teaching strategies using research results, hoping to be helpful to Dutch students in improving their level of Chinese pronunciation.This paper is devided into five parts, the main as follows:Chapter I is introduction, describing the reason and significance of chosen topic, research subjects and methods, research purposes and related research reviews.Chapter II describes Chinese pronunciation erros of Dutch speakers. It first briefs research materials, the tested conditions and investigation procedures, then describes the initials, the finals and tones errors and statistical results of Dutch students in mother language environment and goal language environment independently.Chapter III is the comparison of Dutch speakers’Chinese pronunciation errors, including that of Dutch students in mother language environment and target language environment, Dutch students and English-speaking students in mother language environment, and Dutch students and English-speaking students in goal language environment.Chapter IV analyzes the causes of Dutch speakers’Chinese pronunciation errors besed on the above pronunciation description and comparison results, and then puts forward relevant teaching strategies.Chapter V is conclusion, summarizing the whole paper and views and pointing out further research on relevant issues.Appendices include the "hundred-word syllable table" used in the proununciation survey, and the records of trial lisening for the survey results.
