If these anxiety emotions can’t get intervention, it might affectthe daily life of the adolescents, and further transform into anxiety disorder, even continue toadulthood and influence their lifespan development. Development psychopathology from theviewpoint of multi-disciplinary put forward interaction paths of the development of children’sanxiety, in which family functioning and attachment quality were two important aspects.Although there had been numerous studies to explore the relationships among family function,attachment quality and children’s anxiety, but the researchs of adolescents’anxiety, attachmentand family questions were still lack and there were no direct studies about the relationships.For this, the paper on the basis of the detailed literature investigated the development ofyouth anxiety from two aspects of family and attachments, expected to explore dangerous andprotective factors and comprehensive path relationships among adolescents’anxiety, attachmentand family function in the development of youth anxiety, provided effective interventions toreduce or eliminate the excessive anxiety of the young people for family or school education.The present research tested 907 adolescents from a high school and four junior high schoolsin LinYin FeiXian by Spence Children Anxiety Scale, Fmily Function Device and Inventory ofParent and Peer Attachment, and drew the following conclusion:1. Adolescent anxiety disorders occurred at a rate of about 15%, of which was the most highlevel in the second grade of junior high school. Female adolescents reported higher levels ofanxiety than male adolescents. Among the specific symptoms of anxiety, the levels of socialphobia and obsessive-compulsive disorders as the most prominent anxiety problem in adolescentwere the highest; the level of generalized anxiety than social phobia, obsessive-compulsivedisorder and other anxiety symptoms was low but relatively stable, and can not be ignored. Thelevels of separation anxiety, panic agoraphobia and physical injury fears which were no longerthe main problems of anxiety in the development of adolescents were relatively low, but panicagoraphobia in higher anxiety adolescents is more outstanding.2. Adolescents had many family problems which were the most concentrated in the secondgrade of junior high school. Family function had significant effects on adolescents’anxiety, morefamily questions reflected higher adolescents’ anxiety level. In the dimensions of family function, role and communication had more significant effects on adolescents’anxiety. Less or ineffectivecommunication and chaotic characters of role tasks among family members become risk factorsin the development of adolescents’anxiety.3. Adolescents’attachment quality with father and mother was falling, and the quality ofpeer attachment on the rise.Attachment had significant effects on adolescents’anxiety. Thehigher was attachment quality and the less anxiety questions. The communication dimension offather attachment was protective factor but alienation with peers was dangerous factor. Motherattachment indirectly affects adolescents’anxiety mainly through peer attachment, but fatherattachment affects adolescents’anxiety through direct and indirect paths.4. Attachment quality had partly mediating effect on the relationship between fatherattachment and adolescents’anxiety.
