The article’s idea comes from contemporary international ceramics "One thousand and one cup". The exhibition shows the importance of the thee of the cup and it makes it possible for increasing number of potters to design cups. This article comes from ideas of the exhibition and explore in-depth knowledge of a ordinary cup.Cups,as one of the most common ceramics in life, that are very easy to be ignored.People usually treat it as daily utensils. However, with the development of contemporary ceramics and reflection of tradition and history, especially when reexamine the history of Chinese and Japanese ceramics history, we will see that the small cups has huge energy power and it covers lots of aspects like science, culture and aesthetics. The learning process does a great job for our contemporary ceramics design and other artistic creation.lt is just like what is mentioned in the article, there is magic in the small ordinary cup.
