In recent years, the staff "overwork" and "job burnout" problem cause for people’s concernand the job burnout is increasingly becoming a hot spot. However, the tourism’s multiplerealities; complicated, high consumption of mental and physical.Lead the tour guide hasbecome a high burnout group. In order to effectively alleviate the problem of the tour guides’burnout, in this study, on the basis of the illustration of the basic concepts of the tour guides,investigate how the work stress, attribution style affect the job burnout.This research is made among tour guides in Jinan, Taian, Jining who are sampled atrandom to answer questionnaires. We distributes450questionnaires to tour guides, using thework stress scale, employees Attribution Scale, tour guides burnout Scale. The main findings inthe following areas:(1) Of different sex the tour guides work stress are significantly different: female guidesfelt more working pressure than the male guides, especially on the organizational managementpressure dimensions, while those with different age have not significant differences. Ofdifferent education background the work-related pressure and the organizational managementpressure are significantly different. Of different working life the tour guides work-relatedpressure are significantly different.(2) Of different sex and education background the tour guides attribution style is notsignificant different. Of different working life the attribution style and uncontrollable attributionare significant different: the tour guides who less of the work experience, tend to make moreuncontrollable attribution.(3) Of different sex and age the tour guides diminished personal accomplishment aresignificant different. Of different working life the job burnout, the depersonalization and thediminished personal accomplishment are significant different.(4) Significant positive correlation exists between the dimensions of work stress and jobburnout, emotional exhaustion, the diminished personal accomplishment.(5)Attribution style and job burnout, emotional exhaustion are significant positivecorrelated; external attribution, uncontrollable attribution and the job burnout are significantlycorrelated; internal attribution dimensions and emotional exhaustion, job burnout are significantnegative correlated; controllable attribution dimensions and the emotional exhaustion, personalaccomplishment, job burnout are significant negative correlated.(6) The work stress, work-related pressure, the career development pressure and theattribution style are significant positive correlated; the dimensions of work stress, externalattribution, uncontrollable attribution are significant positive correlated; interpersonalrelationships pressure, organization management pressure and internal attribution, the controllable attribution are significant negative correlated; interpersonal relationships pressure,organization management pressure with an external attribution, uncontrollable attribution aresignificant positive correlated.(7)Work stress has a direct impact on job burnout, the direct effect path coefficient is0.33(t=3.86, p <0.001); and it has indirect impact on the job burnout by attribution style, theindirect effect is0.12(t=2.77, p <0.001), and the uncontrollable attribution made anintermediary effect between interpersonal relationships pressure and the depersonalizationdimension.
