As Chinese is becoming famous around the world, more and more foreigners are going tolearn Chinese. Only school training is not enough for all the different people with differentpurposes. That’s why a great many of Chinese training institutions are come into existence,especially in big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. New things are always full ofenergy but insufficiency at the same time. The institutions are lacking of teaching system, andclasses are random compare to school class. The training institutions are for every walk of life,so they have to set up one-to-one class mode in order to meet different demand at the mostdegree. But one-to-one class mode has a huge different with the traditional class. It may be achallenge to the teachers who work there without professional knowledge. It’s difficult to teachthe grammar, just take separate-word for example. So I attempt to explore how to improve thissituation by using the theory and skill that is available to the teaching.In my thesis I connect my teaching experience with the language theory, aim at finding themethods that can be used for the one-to-one mode class. In the past the academe is entangled bythe denominate and compartmentalize of separate-word, so is the traditional teaching, they payexcessively attention on the knowledge and neglect the pragmatic of language. But in mythesis I steer clear of the dispute and pay attention to the pragmatic Chinese in order to study forthe purpose of application. In this thesis I try to find the shortcoming of the training institutionsby analyzing the training market, give prominence to the teaching especially the teaching ofseparate-word and try to find methods adapt to one-to-one mode class. By study the constructiongrammar, and choose the redeeming feature to guide the teaching. Using the pragmatics theory tospoken language teaching. Emphases on communication principle. In the end of the thesis, Ibring forward the elicitation to apply to school teaching and advise to optimize the exercitationin order to acclimation the development of teaching Chinese as a second language. That’s alsothe lightspot of the thesis.
