Along with the international promotion of Chinese language and the opening of more Confucius Institutes by Hanban(Confucius Institute Headquarters),more and more foreigners have deeply understood the benefits of Chinese learning.Therefore,innovation and improvement of methods in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has become a hot issue of research and a trend of practical development in the past few years.In this paper,the author studied the effect of the Word-Net teaching model in the classroom teaching of Chines as a second language.First,the author explained reasons behind this writing and related ideas,hoping to find new paths for the teaching of Chinese vocabulary to international students by building an interdisciplinary theory-based model of Chinese language teaching,thus improving vocabulary learning efficiency,better breaking through the phenomenon of rigid learning and further enhancing students' Chinese proficiency.Then,in chapter 3,the author systematically discussed reasons for the selection of the Word-Net teaching model and its theoretical basis and preparation,as well as comparison between the teaching model built by the author and the traditional teaching model.Chapter 4provides the records of practice of the teaching model over several months,serving as certain data support to the analysis of teaching effect in chapter 5.In the late study,through effect analysis,the author demonstrated the practicability of the teaching model and discovered factors affecting the operation of the teaching model,which was in proportion to teachers,students and other factors;teachers' quality and students' enthusiasm directly influenced the model's normal operation.Through construction of the Word-Net teaching model and repeated thinking and improvement of the model in practice,the author expected to establish an efficient and fairly complete teaching model or method for the teaching of Chinese vocabulary as a part of foreign language teaching.
