| Presently, the original animation industry has gained enormous support from the state every year. which gives us a vision of prospects for the development of China’s animation industry. but in the actual creation of which we will always feel confused about the theme of original animation, content, form and other aspects. What contradiction lies in is on the one hand there is frequent resort to the so-called international scale in terms of themes, stories and techniques in animation; on the other hand China is a a large country with thousands of years’tradition and culture. those inexhaustible source of inspiration waiting for us to explore and develop. China is a united nation of fifty-six ethnic groups. every ethnic group has abundant resource of cultural elements. If we draw upon the essential part from ethnic traditions, especially from those unearthed culture in the west, and strike a good unity with people’s aesthetic demands in modern times, we may find better prospect for the possible production of China’s original cartoons.In this paper, combined with my own animation short film creation as well as to the ethnic cognition, the research object is limited in the ethnic groups elements in animation application, Elaborated ethnic groups elements and themes of Chinese animation included in our national style, and comparison of the United States and Japan’s animation contained in the national spirit and practical application. described not only from the form to draw on ethnic elements, but also in the content connotation, to form a unique artistic style of expression from its own reality. the details of life, the resonance point of the nation, a common ethos, national culture into the animation to become a node connecting the traditional culture and modern civilization. And hope more animation maker can find available animation resources of the China western region,for China animation art in order to further enrich and diversify do some my own reflection. |
