Middle Ming Dynasty legend of the boom years, when many classic plays underthe dazzling aura of the opera adaptation could fill volumes: Chen Yu jiao’s "spiritualsword", Shen Jing’s "Yi Xia drama", Xu Zichang’s "Shui Hu drama". The three dramarepresentatives of the Outlaws of the Wanli period drama, which adapted from"WaterMargin".The paper by three drama not only reveal the meaning and value of thisadaptation, but also for the moment the accept of "Water Margin" history of theResidual.The paper first discusses the social and political background of the Wanli period,revealing the three drama background to conclude the common core of the drama in"slaughter". Then, from the works of "loyalty" theme, characters, plot adaptation of thethree perspectives details will be discussed and examples to explore the skills andprinciples of adaptation by the playwright.
