“Shui Jing Zhu” was written by Li Daoyuan, who lived in northern wei dynasty. He was born a son of a family and he liked the mountains and rivers of the motherland. across from boyhood. He is committed to research, hydrology, natural style and features, local conditions and customs, and so on. He has been to Hebei, Henan, Shandong and other places. On the basis of reading a large number of ancient geography books, combining with the experience, he wrote the book “Shui Jing Zhu”. The book, including forty chapters, introduces the mountains and rivers, natural beauty, history, customs and habits, character allusions, the palace buildings become, and so on. It not only has high research value, history geography research value, but also has high value of linguistics research.Based on the 20 preposition, the thesis static description and comparative analysis, study of its usage and describes the appearance of the book’s preposition system. The thesis is divided into three parts:The first part is introduction, including two aspects of content. The first is a brief introduction of the writer with the book, the book’s version problem and the illustration the research scope and significance of this paper. The second reviews the definition of the preposition and makes a research on the characteristics of the preposition.The second part is the main part of the full text. According to the first part of the definition and features of the preposition, the second part identifies 20 prepositions in the book. According to the method, which contents investigation and combining qualitative and quantitative, this part describes the preposition system of the book for details.The third part is the conclusion. Using the tabular form, this part statistics preposition usage, sums up the characteristics of the prepositions in the system.
