This paper studies the use of the language of Buyi nationality at Buyi nationality village in Luoping country, Yunnan province. Based on the results of the investigation and analysis, Buyi language is only used by smaller numbers which faces the old aging trend, so the native tradition of inherited problems has appeared. Along with the ethnic population was gradually reduced, the national language began to disappear. The local Buyi language crisis, the specific situation is different from the current Buyi language which is still used in a large area, and it remains current Buyi-Chinese bilingual situation, while Chinese at the strong area, it has certain research value. In order to achieve a better understanding of speakers’different attitudes to the language, comparative analysis is used to get this target.In addition, based on the language attitude based on the general analysis, according to the authoritative judgment method will Changdi country Buyi as endangered language, for Changdi country Buyi endangered languages of the specific characteristics of description, summary and analysis of the subjective, objective cause. Language is used to predict the future of Changdi area, and analyse of Chinese endangered Language protection status. Based on the Changdi country’s situation, targeted with the actual proposed rescues and protection measures, the Buyi language protection work contributes strength, in order to cause academic and relevant government agencies’attention, especially putting enough attention to the regional status of endangered language.At Changdi country, the investigation of the usage of Buyi language helps to reveal the social mainstream culture strongly under the influence of minority language used in the law of the dynamic development, to enrich the social linguistics and applied linguistics. People in endangered language area treat language towards conversion, so the regional language life and harmonious development of social life have some guiding significance.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part (introduction) introduces the purpose and significance of topics, the current research status, questionnaire structure type, data sources and study method, Investigation of specific situation, population, and historical status. The second part (the first chapter) focus on the description of Buyi Language at Changdi country, the introduction of the basic structure of Buyi language at Changdi country as well as the basic profiles of investigation object, the description of language usage, materials of classification of language investigation and describes its language features on different circumstances. The third part (the second chapter) speaks the analysis of Buyi language at Changdi country, in view of the usage and development of the current language, and the local people’s attitude to Buyi language, the selection of Buyi which better preserved in the Luoping County, and the contrasts of different attitudes of the and its usage. The fourth part (the third chapter) focuses on the public’s opinion about Buyi language usage at Changdi, according to the authoritative judgment method and data from survey, Buyi language at Changdi has been endangered, elaborated the features of Buyi language endangered at Changdi country, and analysis of its native endangered advocate objective reason. The fifth part (the fourth chapter) analyzes and forecasts of the development of Buyi, introducing the protection of endangered languages in China, and then puts forward the targeted protection and rescue measures. The sixth part (the conclusion) briefly summarizes this paper with some suggestions and pointing out the shortages.
