Throughout the ages, human beings are always interested in theirown journey of life. The ancient Greeks knocked open the door of ourinquiry about “human being” with the myth of Sphinx. After that time,numerous thinkers and philosophers raised a variety of views on HumanScience. But those views mostly confined to one aspect, failed to seizethe true nature of human. What is the nature of people on earth?Different people have different opinions. Then Marx indicated his viewsabout this problem on the basis of practice. Therefore, this paper whichstarts from the ideological origins re-combs the theory on human natureof Marx’s. And the purpose is to help us understand the theoretical andpractical significance to our country correctly.The full text contains four chapters:ChapterⅠlooks back the ideological origin of Marx’s theory abouthuman nature, and explains Marx’s excess on his predecessors in fourperiods (that is the phases of "Doctoral thesis"" Rheinische Zeitung ""Germany and France Yearbook" and "German Ideology").Chapter Ⅱ introduces the basic content of Marx’s human naturetheory, including the definition of the concept of the human nature andMarx’s comprehension on the relationships between labor, socialrelations, need, freedom and the nature of people.Chapter Ⅲ discusses the contemporary significance of Marx’shuman nature theory. It also analyzes, mainly from two aspects of thetheoretical and practical significance, the affects of this theory, such asthe development of our human nature theory, ideological and politicaleducation, social development, the building of harmonious society, theachievement of people-oriented and so on.
