Research On The Effects Of Silk Culture Of Suzhou City Image

Recently, as the improving of the process of urbanization in China,people become more and more to focus on city image, and morecitizens begin to require more subjective perception of City Culture andurban morphology. Undoubtedly, good city image can not only impresspeople deeply, but also prominent city individuality and enhance thecompetitiveness of the city. Therefore, how to build a city image bothwith local elements and distinctive individuality, become an importanttask that we firstly face on city construction.This article try to draw the effect mechanization which city capitalaffect city image into the text on basis of the existing research in cityimage communication, so as to explore the effect on city image by silkculture. On the method of the research, the article mainly usequantitative researching method. By the way of questionnaireinvestigation, the article explore the effect that silk culture impact thepolitical image, the economical image and the cultural image ofSuzhou in three dimensions of variable index---the physical form, thespiritual formation and the political form of silk culture.What’s worthpointing out, this research is an exploring study and there are notcorresponding research for reference, therefore, during the wholeprocess of researching, the author has done a lot of work in interviewingthe citizens, the government officials and the silk enterprises in Suzhouand finally set questionnaire on the basis of the survey, so as to ensurethe scientific and precise of the study.In this research, it has made clear that the effect on city image bysilk culture mainly manifested in the following three aspects:(1)Silk culture evidently affect the political image of the city ofSuzhou positively.(2) Silk culture evidently affect the cultural image of the city of Suzhou positively.(3)Although silk culture affect the economic image of the city ofSuzhou positively, but the impact is limited.In conclusion, the capital operation of the resource of silk culture isa arduous and complex project. This research aims to explore theimpact and role that the various factors of silk culture affect city imageof Suzhou, so as to provide theoretical support for building city image ofSuzhou with distinguishing feature of silk culture.
