To the high school students in adolescence, changes in psychological and social age do not represent inevitably change in preordained developmental trajectory referring to the field of development psychology. As there are a large variety of changed pathways, as well as, people widely differ in how successfully managing their lives in contexts in which they live at any given point, that is to say, people widely differ in their self-control ability. It is vital importance to do the research about self-control ability, which plays an significant role in the individual’s self-efficacy mechanism. Two studies are conducted in my article. The first is to revise The Regulatory Emotional Self-efficacy Scale and the second is to examine the structural path of influence through which perceived self-efficacy to regulate positive and negative affects in concert with perceived self-efficacy to manage interpersonal relationships contribute to high school students’ life satisfaction. And according to the findings in this research, I put forward an appropriate intervention plan at the end. The study is conducted with378participants aged15to20years. The results are as follows:1. Findings prove the applicability of the Revised Scale;2. It leads to an ideal result which shows that perceived self-efficacy to regulate positive and negative affects have a directly predicted effect on the high school students’ life satisfaction, what’s more, perceived self-efficacy to regulate positive affect has an indirectly influence on the high school students’ life satisfaction through perceived self-efficacy to manage interpersonal relationships;3. The intervention plan which is based on the Social cognitive theory and the findings of this survey seems to be appropriate for the psychological health education theoretically.
