Manchu Official Position Title

Official appellation refers to official positions which can apply power and fulfillobligations in the national governing body. And the change of dynasties from ancient tomodern times, besides Han regime, there are also some minority regime. Therefore,official appellation of these dynasties is connected with the national culture. Of course,official appellation is not immutable and frozen, and it will experience a process ofdevelopment and change. From Erdene creating Manchu in1599to the fall of the QingDynasty in1911, Manchu official appellation has experienced such a process in thesetwo hundred years. Manchu official appellation can not only reflect the developmentprocess of Manchu ecological environment, social system, customs, but also can offerstrong evidence for the communication between Manchu and other ethnic interactionthrough these words. This thesis regards Manchu official appellation as the researchobject, applying cultural linguistics, history, anthropology, literature and other relevanttheories and methods, in order to reveal the features of language, cultural connotationand historical evolution.
