The Research Of Chinese Ancient Official Appellation

As a part of the language, the appellation is one of the important ways to trace back to the history of ancient Chinese vocabulary, grasp the culture and history. Chinese ancient official appellation are an important component of social appellation systems. Ancient appellation are a symbol of superior and inferior relationship, traditional hierarchy. And the official titles shows value of language research. This thesis from the macro perspective, analysis of the changes and development of the official titles, and the cultural significance behind it.This paper includes the following aspects:The first part carries on the usage of the official appellation; The third part reveals the cultural connotation of the official title. Through the research, in order to have a systematic understanding of official titles.
