In a language system, vocabulary mirrors various aspects in a society. New wordsconstantly changes and reflects the change of society. Ever since1980s, linguists havebeen making endless efforts with great achievements in their academic research fromvarious angles and at different levels on new words, phrases and expressions emergingin modern Chinese language. Yet still, teaching new words in the area of TCFL is stillstayed the stage of beginning. Teaching Chinese as the second language in TCFL, theefforts of teaching new words are not mature, and the numbers of them are not verymuch. The thesis analyzed the new words in the outline, teaching materials and thelessons. Through a combination of theoretical research base of new words, I found outsome problems in them and gave some suggestions to aim at offering assistance toTeaching Chinese as the Second Language and put forward some proposals in the hopethat some help on the teaching of new words. |
