Euphemism Comparative Study Chinese And Korean

In this paper, I studied about Chinese and Korean euphemism and both werecompared. And I clarified similarities and differences of the euphemisms, by extension,I would provide a reference for a second foreign language learners. This paper consistsof five chapters. The details are as follow.In the chapter1, I studied about state of each study and shortcomings of theeuphemisms.In the chapter2, I studied about similarities and differences, which I clarified aboutdefinitions and categories of euphemisms, by extension, relations of indirectness andpoliteness relational the euphemisms.In the chapter3, I studied about similarities and differences, which a death,disease, defect, sex, pregnancy, excretion and job field were compared in word categoryof euphemisms.In the chapter4, I studied about similarities and differences, which a situation ofrequest, order, advice, rejection, recommendation, expressing opinion and such werecompared in sentence category of euphemisms.In the chapter5, I studied about similarities and differences which traditionalculture, custom, and social background of Korea and China were inhered in euphemism.And I studied why target and way of expression were different.
