"Euphemism" is a common phenomenon in the language use of daily life,it involves the history of all ethnic groups, culture, psychology and other aspects. Most people use it frequently in life.If you use the direct expression instead of the "euphemism" in the communication in all kinds of conditions,it may result in awkward atmosphere or displeasing feelings to the hearers. Therefore,"Euphemism" is an inevitable expressions in communication. In the course of the internship, the author found that several Korean students at the HSK level 6 often translated the words in the Korean language directly and use inappropriate expressions like "My grandmother died," "My lower body was fat,so I went to the gym,Her lower body is very slim,I am envy at her"," lower body disorder " unconsciously, which verified the importance of euphemism teaching and in the meantime inspired the author's three thinking as follow.First, whether do the second language learners use euphemism or not;second,if not used, then do they have the sense of using euphemism;third,if they use euphemism in their mother language, then why do not use euphemism in the second language they are leaning? On the basis of these ideas, according to the previous research results, this paper mainly contrasts the semantic, grammar and functional aspects of euphemism. In this paper, before the beginning of comparative analysis, due to the definition of euphemism have not been concluded yet,we would first explain the category and characteristics of Chinese and Korean euphemism in detail. In addition,we also collected The euphemistic terms from ten Chinese textbooks for foreigners(intermediate and advanced level)which are commonly used and the CCL corpus, these euphemism are practical to analyze how euphemisms are used in the real language environment. In the third chapter,we first analyze the euphemism from the perspective of semantics.According to the classification of the Chinese and Korean euphemisms and the differences in the way of semantic expression,we will compare euphemisms with the same expression of semantics and the same way of expression, euphemisms with the same semantic expression and the similar way of expression, and euphemisms with the same semantic expression but the different way of expression in Chinese and Korean.Secondly, from the perspective of grammatical and syntactic functions, the euphemism of Chinese and Korean isomorphism is analyzed separately. In the part of euphemism composed of Korean idioms, those euphemisms will be error analyzed by the perspective of the relationship between form and function in order to understand problems that the Korean Chinese learners encountered in the practical use of Chinese. Finally, from the perspective of pragmatic functions,This paper also investigates the how the euphemism were used by Chinese learners in China and Korea, and makes statistics and analysis on the mastery and usage of euphemisms for Chinese students studying in China and Chinese learners studying in Korea. On the basis of results of previous theoretical research and practical research, this paper puts forward some practical suggestions on teaching, which can provide useful reference for teachers on vocabulary and pragmatic teaching, and Korean Chinese leaners on correctly mastering euphemism.
