The Southern Song Dynasty Zte Dream Three Poets

During the resurgence of Southern Song dynasty when the territory was occupied by the Jin Army and the nation was divided into halves, namely, the North and the South, poetry has made significant achievements and reached the peak of the Song dynasty’s poems after the first peak (1086-1094). Among the numerous poems, the dream poems of the Resurgent Three Great Poets are especially outstanding. They are abundant not only in the quantity but also in meaning. Poets express their emotions and ambitions through the dream poetry. The dream poetry is typical of characteristics of Southern Song dynasty and plays an important role in the history of the dream poetry.This paper makes the dream poem the breakthrough point. The author analyzes the dream poems of Lu You, Fan Chengda and Yang Wanli with the psychology theories:it makes a multi-angel study of these works taking a lot of factors into consideration, such as the social background, cultural trend, aesthetic fashion and the poets’experience, personalities and their writing style, etc. At the same time, the paper makes a horizontal comparison among three poets. The author has the acknowledgement of three contemporary poets very comparatively, including the thoughts, stylistic embodiments, emotional attitudes and connotative meaning of their poems. And then the paper tries to analyze the origin of dream poems and find out why people of that age like dream poem very much and how the contents of poetry are influenced by the inner world of poets, politics, economy and culture etc. in many ways.Finally, the paper sorts the dream poems of Resurgent Three Great Poets into the treasure-house of Chinese ancient dream culture and Chinese ancient dream literature in order to broaden the studies’horizon. To find some literature phenomena and literary laws, the author compares the different poets’ dream works that have the same theme from a longitudinal angel.
