Xi 'an Art Epang Palace Cinema History And Status Quo Of The Research

The EPang palace theater is one of the most famous art cinemas in Xi’an and has a long history of80years. The passions, insistence and adamancy of the workers that come from the EPang palace theater will be felt after systematically analyze and discuss the features about the establishment, development and dilemma periods of the theater. In fact, the the EPang palace is just one of industries related to the development of movie and TV in the long history. However, the changes of cultural system in the historical city or even the pieces about the history of Chinese film industry could be observed through the development of the theater.This article is focus on the obvious improvement of the film industry in China with the development and reformation of economic and political system and will take the EPang palace as an example to reflect the rapid development of the theater industry in China. Several conclusions such as current situation of theater industry of our country, the problems existed and the developing tendency of the future theater industry in China will be drew after analyze and discuss comprehensively the development process of the EPang palace. It will be used for reference for the healthy development of the future theater industry in our country.The characteristic and management status of the EPang palace in each historic period are analyzed and discussed. It is hopefully to find a suitable way for the development of the EPang palace and to revival this local film brand in Xi’an.
