Concerning Zhang Chengzhi Intellectual Writing View

Zhang Chengzhi is an author who sticks to his status as an intellectual, his perseverance manifested itself in his approval of Jahrinya, in his appreciation of the ancient time when every people vied for purity as well as in his criticism of the western hegemony. As an intellectual, he always stood in the position of the disadvantaged, especially of the western Jahrinya people, criticizing the injustice and upholding the justice for the society and for his people as well. His deeds revealed his spirit of ultimate concern. In face of the Chinese society under the impact of the commercial tide, Zhang Chengzhi, infuriated by compatriots’corruption, perseveres in his disdain against money worship and seeks for a spiritual pursuit that is able to balance the worldly ambition in the secular society.He approves for the Jahrinya’s abiding pursuit of their belief in freedom, meanwhile, he thought highly of the Assassin spirit that in favor of sacrifice for purity.When the western society leaded by USA waged the unrightful war against the third world, Zhang Chengzhi came out boldly to challenge against their hegemony. His defense for justice is based on the humanitarian standpoint in speaking for the aphasiac disadvantaged shadowed by the western discourse hegemony.This thesis takes the later works of Zhang Chengzhi as the object of study, aiming to dig out the ideology implied in them as well as the embodiment of his writing viewpoint as an intellectual in his works.
