As a national life style and psychological accumulation,culture affects people’s behavior and the way of thinking.And cultural image is the culture with a certain form of complex which reflect in people’s mind.Certain culture gave people the particular way of thinking and behavior principle.Teachers’ cultural image is a nationality, traditional culture and values shape with different ethnic characteristics of the teachers’ cultural image.Chinese culture shaped the teachers’ cultural image with Chinese characteristics,not the image of other national characteristics.Chinese teachers’ cultural image is the external expression of the unique connotation of Chinese traditional culture.As a kind of nonverbal communication, their way of speaking,behavioral pattern, way of dressing,all of these are conveying Chinese culture and givng learners more intuitive feel.Affected by cultural restriction, Nonverbal communication and verbal communication are mutual influence and work together. They are important form of the cross-cultural communication. The main purpose of teaching Chinese as a foreign is to develop the cross-cultural communicative ability language. To realize the effective teaching of teaching Chinese as a second language, We must combine the nonverbal communication with the verbal communication and the information they transfer must be consistent.
