The Comparative Study With The Schubert Art Song

in art songs, poetry and music are interconnected, indispensable and considered as a integrated system since the tendency of music depend the tendency of tone. Therefore a close combination of language and melody can be significantly reflected in art songs, and among which the songs from Schubert and Huangzi are quite popular. Based on the aria and education of vocal music, this dissertation researched their songs from multi points of view and compared them from four aspects:culture, social background and creation methods, harmony and vocal form, and aria.This dissertation was divided into four chapters. First chapter represented the emerging and development of art song; second chapter gave a brief introduction of Schubert and Huangzi; third chapter compared Schubert and Huangzi’s art songs from their creations, harmony and musical forms; and in the last chapter, by combining with the theory, practice and education in vocal music, we did comparisons between their songs.
