According to the complexity of predicate structure, Adjective-predicated sentences of Xunzi are divided into two categories:simple adjective that statement and complexity of the adjectives that statement, Firstly, researching the simple sentences.Which are divided into five categories:single adjective as the predicate that sentence, Bin phrase as a predicate of that sentence, adjective and complement as the predicate that sentence, Adverbial and headword as the predicate that sentence, Adverbial and complement phrase as the predicate that sentence. Complex adjective that statement is divided into four categories:adjectives that joint statement, the adjective even that sentence, adjectives and chief statement, adjectives predicate statement.Chapter Ⅲ:Statistics the adjective predicate of the sentences from Xunzi, according to the structure, which are divided into five categories:A-type, AA-type, AB-type, type of Aa, Aaa-type and descripte every kind of adjective-predicates to facilitate the application and analysis of the chart in chapterlV. ChapterⅣ:Research the corresponding relationships between the structural type of the adjective-predicated sentences and adjective-predicates, First of all, on the basis of the previous conclusions of the study, showing the correspondences between the two by the chart, then analyzes the chart, specified what relationships both adjective-predicated sentences and adjective-predicates, try to explain the reansons why the specific adjective predicates can enter a specific adjective-predicated sentence. Finally, Summarize the features of adjective-predicated sentences in Xunzi.
