Learning style is a cognitive way with characteristics of all-sided, long-lastingand personalized, and a way of processing information when students study. With theappearance of more advantages of the multimedia teaching, the comprehensive researchintegrating education theory and multimedia technologies is developing more and moremature. In the information time, if we want to promote the student-centered teaching andstudent’s high-efficiency learning, teachers must fully consider the student’s difference oflearning style and utilizes the multimedia superiority fully.This paper based on the perceptual learning style theory which selects three angles ofthe visual, the auditory and the kinesthetic, designs the criterion and the process ofdeveloping multimedia courseware surface, at last, the author designs and manufacturestree kinds of examples. Refers to O’Brien’s learning channel preference checklist, aftermaking the improvement of it, students in class two of grade two of Baichi first middleschool in Li County of Hebei province carried on the questionnaire survey. Then teachingexperiment was carried according to its perceptual learning style group. The students in theexperimental class and the comparison class separately have carried on the pretestingbefore the experimental teaching and carried on the post-testing after the experimentalteaching, and after the experiment, the students in experimental class have carried on theinvestigation of the learning effect of the multimedia courseware. The research indicatesthat the multimedia courseware surfaces refer to the design criterion and the process of themultimedia courseware which is based on the student perceptual learning style havereceived student’s welcome finally, and the student’s exam result has been distinctlyimproved. Also the students in experiment class have displayed the high learning interest.This paper mainly using literature research, experimental method and questionnaireinvestigation method, have completed this topic research, which provides a relativelystandard reference standards and procedure for multimedia courseware interface designand development based on perception of learning style and eventually with experimentaldata proves that the multimedia courseware in accordance with the standards andprocedure, improves the exam score and the learning interest of the students in somedegree.
