The Dunhuang Library Cave saved a large number of Social and historical DocuMents, especially Civil society, it is particularly interesting. Their times are mainly Late Tang, Five Dynasties period and Northern Song Dynasty,and in this period, Dunhuang civil association documents are preserved completely. Dunhuang She Associations and Related Documents have a large number and species, which covering production, living and religious beliefs etc, provide research date to help us understand Dunhuang Civil association and social lifeFrom a language point of view, the terms of Dunhuang She Associations and Related Documents ancient is between Chinese and morden Chinese, it not only inherited the old words, but also generate new words in pace with social need, not only involve plain spoken language, but also elegant language. It’s a true reflection of the language at that time. This paper use these documents as corpus, study and explain some words and exspressions in it, expect to edit Dunhuang She Associations and Related Documents, compile and amend dictionary like "Chinese Dictionary", and provide a reference to research on Chinese vocabulary.The article text of this paper is divided into three parts. The first part summarized the ancient private She and Dunhuang She Associations produced in the Tang Dynasty, introduced the value of corpus, described the status of the study and research methods, and difficulties and shortcomings in work. The second part is the main body of the paper. First, compared with the original volumes to compile the words which need to explain, and then divided these words into "new words" and "synonyms" to interpret. In addition, because of the special studied object (unearthed documents), I must pay extra attention to the accuracy of the recorded text. The third part will be proofreading of "Collections of Dunhuang She Associations and Related Documents". The author pointed out and corrects some wrong records of words and punctuation. From above work, we expected to accurately interpret and more in-depth study on those documents.
