Artistic innovation thoughts spread rapidly after the Second World War.A varietyof different styles and genres were coming in a throng,formed another golden age in thehistory of human culture.The development of music is also complying with thistrend.The new works and techniques that be interrupted in the war recoveredrapidly.The important achievement of music in this period is that the technique of serialmusic constantly expand and improve,and this achievement still function in thecontemporary music composition.After the “Second Viennese School”,many composersin Europe and the United States were contious innovation the form and skill,then toimitation and practice the new skill at the same time.The Italian composer LuigiDallapiccola was the most characteristc and influential one.His composition not onlyinherited the rigor of traditional twelve-tone technique but also blend in the melody andtonality.It is worth for us to explore and follow his style and technique.It will cause theunderstanding was incomplete of serial music development if we lack of observe andanalysis of Dallapiccola’s composition.This paper mainly on analysis the pitchorganization and the use of methods about Canti di Liberazione,to fill the lack ofknowledge about him in current academic circles.
