| The wave of cultural studies in literary theory research field springing up from1990s often confuses those who want to step into the research field of "the influence of the image on the novel narration" by various denotations such as picture, image and visual image so that many researchers directly use various kind of concepts and viewpoints linked with "Visual Culture Times" before thinking over. The thesis aims at breaking through drawing conclusion about current situation and prospect of novels from the perspective of cultural studies and switching the research angle from cultural phenomenon analysis to novel narrative itself, so as to discuss what kind of change have the filmic narrative techniques of novels brought to novel narration and what it means to the aesthetic value performance of novels.The first chapter starts from analyzes how does the filmic narrative thinking enter a novelist’s creative thinking and what’s the reason of it. Then the thesis tries to clarify two groups of confusable concepts and studies the relationship between novel narrative thinking and filmic fiction and imagination.The second chapter studies the manifestation mode of novel filmic narrative techniques in novels through specific text analysis. That is, emphasizing the position of novel situation percipient and forming scenes through borrowing montage technique.The third chapter analyzes the aesthetic value performance of novel filmic narrative techniques in application situations. The thesis comments on the application situations of filmic narrative techniques and ponders what change will happen to the aesthetic effect of a novel when a novelist appropriately borrows filmic techniques from the film rather than misuses them. Then based on a position of introspection, the thesis further studies the limitation on the aesthetic value performance of filmic narrative techniques. |
